Alkemata is edited by Rodolphe D’Inca, an engineer whose work has crossed space propulsion, plasma and fusion research, technical development projects and the examination of complex inventions in a European public institution.

That experience informs the editorial approach: technical systems matter, but so do the people who build, operate, understand, govern and live with them. Alkemata connects the underlying engineering with questions of professional judgment, public accountability and human capability.

Contributors and conversations

Alkemata is developing a network of practitioners, researchers, public servants, founders and civil-society contributors. Contributions are grounded in real work, evidence and concrete cases—not promotional commentary.
