Collaborate with Alkemata

Alkemata is an independent space for people working to make technology more useful, understandable and accountable in public life and expert organisations. We do not run an open public forum. Instead, we start a small number of well-prepared conversations around concrete work.

Share a concrete case

Are you designing, operating or researching a public digital service, an AI-supported professional workflow, or a technology that affects people’s ability to understand, challenge or use an institution? We are interested in the practical details: what works, where it fails, and what people need in order to remain capable and in control.

Suggest an interview

We interview practitioners, researchers, public servants, founders and civil-society contributors who can bring a concrete perspective to human-centred technology. Interviews are prepared in advance and may lead to a published conversation or a small private discussion.

Explore a collaboration

Alkemata can contribute research, editorial work, a structured briefing or a small working discussion. We are particularly interested in public technology, institutional innovation, human-centred AI, and the practical relationship between technical systems and professional judgment.

Please briefly explain your role, organisation, the topic you would like to discuss, and a link to your professional profile or organisation. We review submissions personally and reply where there is a clear fit.
